Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific will increase frequencies on some domestic services as it receives four new A320 aircraft before the end of 2011.

Three of the aircraft will be delivered in September and October, and the fourth in December, the low-cost carrier said in a statement.

The airline will increase frequencies on several flights from Manila in the coming months as a result.

Services to Davao will go up to eight times daily from seven, Tacloban flights to five times daily from four, Boracay to 14 times daily from 13, Dumaguete to thrice daily from twice, Naga to four times daily from three, and Cagayan de Oro to seven times daily from six.

It will also start Zamboanga-Tawi-Tawi and Cagayan de Oro-Iloilo services on 14 October.
