Cessna has won European certification for the Citation Mustang very light jet. The approval paves the way for the airframer to begin deliveries to its growing customer base across the region, where over 100 orders have been chalked up, with the first handover to an unnamed Danish individual client earmarked for the next quarter. Cessna has also received 5.5° steep approach approval for the Mustang, seen here at the EBACE static display, to land at London City Airport and says the second Mustang simulator will be delivered shortly to the Flight Safety training facility in Farnborough, UK. Cessna has delivered 10 Mustangs to date, with a further 15 aircraft in various stages of completion, says the company.
