Systemwide passenger numbers in Chile rose 13% in March to more than 1.39 million.
International passenger numbers grew 6.6% to 619,644, says Chile's civil aviation authority JAC.
LAN had a 53.9% share of the international passenger market, transporting 334,131 passengers during the month.
Brazil's TAM, which has merged with LAN to form LATAM Airlines, was in a distant second place with a 7% share of the market and 43,489 passengers. Copa Airlines held a 5.4% share, transporting 33,767 passengers.
Domestic passenger numbers rose 18.7% to 769,292 during the month, says JAC. LAN had a 76% share of the market, followed by domestic Chilean carrier Sky, which held a 20.4% share.
