Taiwan's China Airlines plans to resume its twice weekly nonstop Taipei Taoyuan-Honolulu service on 2 June, after a three-year suspension.

It will use Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the route, says an airline official.

The new service will complement its existing daily Taipei Taoyuan-Tokyo Narita-Honolulu service.

China Airlines will compete with Hawaiian Airlines, which plans to launch thrice weekly services on the route in July.
