Taiwan’s China Airlines will increase capacity on the Taipei Taoyuan-Brisbane-Auckland route between December 2014 and March 2015.

The carrier will add a fourth weekly service on the route, and also upgauge the aircraft from an Airbus A330-300 to Boeing 747-400 over the three-month period, says Auckland International airport.

“These two initiatives from China Airlines immediately increase capacity on this route by 15,000 seats over the New Zealand high season,” adds the airport’s acting general manager aeronautical commercial Charles Spillane.

FlightMaps Analytics shows that China Airlines is the only carrier that flies between Taipei and Auckland.
