China and Uzbekistan have signed a new bilateral air services agreement.

This allows airlines from the two countries to resume passenger services between Urumqi and Tashkent on 1 July, says the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

They would also be able to launch cargo services between Tianjin and Navoi, it adds.
