China Eastern Airlines plans to start a daily Wuhan-Shanghai-Fukuoka and daily Zhengzhou-Shanghai-Kuala Lumpur service.
Both services will be operated on Boeing 737, Airbus A310, A320 or A330 aircraft, says the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), which has to approve the application.
The airline plans to start operating the services soon, says CAAC.
