China gives nod for more Bishkek-Urumqi flights

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has given its approval for Kyrgyzstan-based airlines to operate flights between the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek and Urumqi, located in western China.

Airlines are permitted to operate weekly flights using Airbus A320s between two cities. No designated carrier has been assigned to operate on the route.

Schedules in Innovata show that Alytn Air and China Southern Airlines operate services between Bishkek and Urumqi.
