China Southern Airlines is planning to launch a twice-weekly Dalian-Hefei-Dayong service.
The carrier will operate the route on an Airbus A319 aircraft from 2 August, the airline's spokeswoman said.
The airline has also launched a Shanghai Pudong-Los Angeles-Vancouver-Shanghai Pudong freighter service, which will be operated four-times weekly on a Boeing 777-200.
The SkyTeam alliance member will compete against Air China Cargo, China Cargo, Polar Air Cargo, Shanghai Airlines Cargo and Yangtze River Express on the Shanghai Pudong-Los Angeles route and Cathay Pacific Cargo on the Los Angeles-Vancouver route.
China Southern will be the only operator on the Hefei-Dayong route and is competing against Hainan Airlines on the Dalian-Hefei route, as shown in Innovata's schedules.
