China Southern Airlines will operate Boeing 787 aircraft on some Guangzhou-Auckland services over the peak summer period.

The airline will add three flights on the route from 4 December 2013 to 28 February 2014, raising its overall frequency to ten per week.

China Southern's existing daily services will continue to be operated by Airbus A330-200s.

Innovata schedules show that the Chinese carrier is the sole operator for services between the two cities.
