China Southern Airlines plans to launch a thrice weekly nonstop Guangzhou-Moscow Sheremetyevo service on 19 June.
It will use Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the route, says its spokeswoman.
The carrier will also raise frequencies on services from Guangzhou to New Delhi and Brisbane, starting 31 March and 25 June respectively.
Its Guangzhou-New Delhi service will be increased from 10 to 14 times weekly, while the Guangzhou-Brisbane frequency will be raised from four to five times weekly.
The Guangzhou-Melbourne service, however, will be reduced from 14 to 10 times weekly on 31 March, adds the spokeswoman.
Innovata schedules show that China Southern will compete with Aeroflot on the Guangzhou-Moscow route. It is the only operator on routes from Guangzhou to Brisbane and Melbourne.
