China's Capital Airlines plans to begin flights on three new domestic routes in January, and resume operations on two other routes.
From 1 January, it will launch flights between Xian and Changsha, Xian and Haikou via Liuzhou, and Lijiang and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan province.
On the same day, it will resume flights between Chongqing and Sanya. It will also resume operations on the Tianjin-Sanya route from 5 January, says the carrier.
Capital Airlines, based in Beijing, operates Airbus A320 family aircraft and will operate daily on all five routes.
The carrier, formerly known as Deer Air, is majority owned by Hainan Airlines' parent HNA Group.
