Chinese cargo airline Jade Cargo plans to begin cargo flights to the USA from September.

It plans to initially operate flights on a Shanghai-Yantai-Anchorage-Chicago-Amsterdam-Shanghai routing three times a week from or after 20 September, says the airline in a filing to the US Department of Transportation.

The Shenzhen-based carrier has applied for permission to operate scheduled cargo flights from China to any point in the USA and beyond.

In addition, it has also requested for authorisation to operate charter cargo flights between China and the USA.
