Chinese carrier Lucky Air plans to launch four new services from Lijiang starting in July.

The airline says it will begin daily Lijiang-Changsha, Lijiang-Nanjing, Lijiang-Guiyang and Lijiang-Chengdu services from 1 July. It did not specify the aircraft types to be used on the four routes.

Innovata schedules show Lucky Air will compete with China Eastern Airlines on the Lijiang-Changsha and Lijiang-Chengdu routes. It will also compete with Sichuan Airlines and Capital Airlines on the Lijiang-Nanjing route, and with Xiamen Airlines on the Lijiang-Guiyang route.

Lijiang is located in southwest Yunnan province. Hainan Airlines has an indirect stake in Lucky Air through Shanxi Airlines, which owns 31.4% of the carrier.
