China's Lucky Air plans to raise frequencies of four domestic services from Kunming starting 1 December.
It will increase the frequency of its Kunming-Xishuangbanna service from six to 11 times daily and its Kunming-Tengchong frequency will increase from twice to thrice daily, says the carrier.
The airline will also double the frequency of its Kunming-Sanya and Kunming-Mangshi services to twice daily and four times daily respectively.
Innovata Schedules show that Lucky Air competes with carriers such as China Eastern Airlines on services from Kunming to Xishuangbanna and Sanya.
Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows that Lucky Air operates six Airbus A320 family aircraft, and 11 Boeing 737-700s and -800s.
Hainan Airlines has an indirect stake in Lucky Air through Shanxi Airlines, which owns 31.4% of the carrier.
