China’s Xiamen airport net profit up 15.3% in H1

China's Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport posted a 15.3% increase in its net profit for the first half of 2012, compared with a year earlier.

Its net profit for the six months ended 30 June rose to CNY174 million ($27.4 million), up from CNY151 million, the airport said in a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing.

Total operating income grew by 14.1% to CNY535 million, up from CNY469 million, while its total operating cost increased by 15.6% to CNY296 million.

Operating profit rose by 16.4% to CNY248 million and total profit increased by 16.7% to CNY248 million, the airport added.
