Danish carrier Cimber Sterling has signed a letter of intent to outsource operations of its six Boeing 737-700s to Jet Time, a Danish airline based at Copenhagen airport.

Cimber Sterling said that it will simplify its fleet to two types of aircraft - ATR turboprops and Bombardier CRJ100 and CRJ200 jets.

Jet Time specialises in operating this type of aircraft in the business-to-business market, said Cimber Sterling. The move will enable it to meet its goal of streamlining its fleet during the current financial year, the airline added.
