Citilink launches five domestic services

Indonesian low-cost carrier Citilink launched daily Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang and Tanjung Pandan services on Friday, 5 April 2013.

The Garuda Indonesia subsidiary also launched daily services from Jakarta to Bengkulu, Jambi and Semarang on Wednesday, 3 April 2013, it adds.

It did not specify the type of aircraft used on the five services.

Innovata schedules show that Citilink competes with Lion Air and Sriwijaya Air on routes from Jakarta to Semarang and Bengkulu.

Both Pangkal Pinang and Tanjung Pandan are located in the Bangka-Belitung province, close to the island of Sumatra.
