Indonesian low-cost carrier Citilink posted a net loss of $20.4 million in the first quarter of 2013.
Operating revenue for the quarter stood at $57.1 million, while it made an operating loss of $21.8 million, parent company Garuda Indonesia disclosed in an investor presentation.
It also recorded a $18.8 million loss in its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, adds Garuda.
In 2012, Citilink posted a full-year net loss of $28.4 million.
Flightglobal's Ascend Online Fleets database shows that Citilink operates 20 Airbus A320s, and seven Boeing 737-300 and -400 aircraft. It will also receive 11 more A320s and five ATR 72-600 turboprops this year.
