Garuda Indonesia’s low-cost subsidiary Citilink posted a net loss of $44.7 million in the first nine months of 2013.
Operating revenue ended 30 September stood at $198 million while it made an operating loss of $46.4 million, Indonesia’s flag carrier said in a presentation to investors. It did not provide a comparative figure for 2012.
Citilink also recorded a $35.6 million loss in its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, adds Garuda.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Online Fleets database shows that Citilink now operates 24 Airbus A320 aircraft.
