Indonesian low-cost carrier Citilink will raise the frequencies of five domestic routes from 20 December.
The airline is adding two daily flights on the Jakarta-Denpasar, Jakarta-Medan and Jakarta-Semarang routes. This will raise the frequency of Denpasar and Medan flights to six times daily, and Semarang flights to thrice daily.
The Garuda Indonesia subsidiary is also adding a third Jakarta-Padang and ninth Jakarta-Surabaya daily flight.
It will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the additional services.
Flightglobal's FlightMaps Analytics shows that Citilink competes with parent Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air and Sriwijaya Air on routes from Jakarta to Denpasar, Medan, Padang, Semarang and Surabaya.
