The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) and Fokker Technologies have signed a memorandum of understanding to co-operate together.
Fokker Technologies' CEO Sjoerd Vollebregt and Comac's general manager Jin Zhuanglong signed the MoU, which "records the mutual interest in cooperation between both companies", said Fokker. It did not disclose further details.
Dutch media reports said the two companies want to work together to develop new aircraft types, but a Comac spokesman said the exact details of the co-operation have not been ironed out.
The MoU was signed in Shanghai following a visit by Vollebregt and other Fokker officials to Comac, which also recently signed co-operation agreements with Bombardier.
