Panama City-based Copa Airlines has reported an increase of 18.1% in passenger traffic in May.
Capacity grew 24.5% year-over-year in May, while the carrier's passenger load factor declined 3.9 percentage points to 72.4%.
International traffic grew 22.9%, as capacity increased 29.9%. However, the load factor decreased 4.1 percentage points to 72.5%.
Domestic traffic fell 37.2% on a 34.2% decrease in capacity, resulting in its load factor falling 3.3 percentage points to 69%.
