Panama-based Copa Airlines reports a 21.3% increase in its overall passenger traffic in January compared to a year earlier.
The carrier's capacity grew 21%, while the passenger load factor increased 0.2 percentage points to 79.6%.
International passenger traffic grew 23%, while capacity increased 22.4%. This resulted in a load factor of 79.5%, a decrease of 0.4 percentage points.
Domestic traffic, represented wholly by Colombian domestic service, decreased 8.6%, while capacity decreased 5.3%. The domestic load factor for the month fell 2.9 percentage points to 81.9%.
