Panama-based Copa Airlines has reported a 23.6% year-on-year growth in its overall passenger traffic in October compared to a year earlier.
The carrier's capacity grew 23.3%, while the passenger load factor grew by 0.2 percentage points to 74.2%.
International passenger traffic grew 25.2%, while capacity increased 25.1%. This resulted in a load factor of 74%, a 0.1 percentage point increase compared with October 2011.
Domestic traffic, represented wholly by Colombian domestic service, decreased 2.2%, while capacity decreased 6%. Domestic load factor for the month increased 2.9 percentage points to 78.8%.
