Copenhagen Airport has reported a 15.9% growth in pre-tax profit to DKr360.9 million ($67.9 million) for the third quarter of 2011.
The airport's third-quarter revenue rose 8% to DKr925.1 million.
Operating profit rose 16.4% to DKr408 million, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 13.1% to DKr534 million during the quarter, said Copenhagen Airport.
Based on the expected traffic programme for 2011, the total number of passengers is expected to continue to increase, the airport operator added.
Copenhagen Airport said that its operating costs are expected to be higher, primarily due to the forecast growth in passenger numbers, cost inflation and depreciation as a result of the continued higher level of investments.
Under the charges agreement, CPH will continue investing an average of DKr500 million annually, supplemented by commercial investments for the benefit of airlines and passengers, the airport operator added.
