Crédit Agricole CIB has financed a new Boeing 737-800 delivery for Qantas with another Japanese operating lease with call option (JOLCO) structure.
The aircraft (MSN 39365) was delivered on 9 November.
The French bank acted as the JOLCO’s arranger, global coordinator, facility agent and security trustee. This was the fourth 737-800 JOLCO financing structured and arranged for the Australian carrier by Crédit Agricole CIB in 2013.
The French bank also closed a JOLCO structure on Qantas Group’s first Boeing 787-8 aircraft last month. The 787 will be operated by Jetstar Airways.
