Cyprus Airways appointed Cabot Aviation as its exclusive agent to remarket two 2002-vintage Airbus A319 aircraft.

The aircraft, MSNs 1729 and 1768, are equipped with V2524-A5 engines.

Cyprus Airways is undergoing a fleet renewal programme phasing out its older A320 and A319 aircraft. In September it agreed to amend the lease expiration dates of two A330-200 aircraft with ILFC by one year and lease two A321-200s for six years in return. Both A321-200s are scheduled to deliver in April and June 2012.

Cabot has had a longstanding relationship with Cyprus Airways. The remarketing company has sold three A320s to Universal Asset Management, one A320 to Phoenix Aircraft Leasing and another aircraft to Myanmar International Airways.
