Djibouti-based Daallo Airlines has acquired a BAe 146-200 from UK-based aircraft management company Falko.
The aircraft will be deployed on routes connecting the tiny African nation to neighbouring countries in the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
It will replace the wet-leased Airbus A320 currently used by Daallo on routes to Dubai, Jeddah, Mogadishu and Hargeisa.
Falko was created in July 2011 following the acquisition of the BAE Systems Asset Management portfolio. It currently has a fleet of 120 regional aircraft.
