DAE seeks Ex-Im support for Emirates leases

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) will request US Export-Import support on 18 April for aircraft on lease to Emirates, according to the export credit agency.

Emirates will take delivery of five Boeing 777-200LR freighter from 2014-2014 from the lessor, Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows. Three aircraft will deliver in 2014, followed by the remaining two freighters in 2015.

All units are powered by General Electric GE90 engines, according to Ascend.

No further details were available about DAE's financing request.
