Darwin Airline leases Saab 2000 from NAC

Switzerland-based regional carrier Darwin Airline has taken a Saab 2000 aircraft under an operating lease contract from Nordic Aviation Capital.

The aircraft (MSN 039) was built in 1996. It was last operated by Skyways, which ceased operations in May 2012, under a wet lease contract with Carpatair.

Darwin Airline operates six Saab 2000s according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database. It also has two Bombardier Q400s on storage.
