ILFC places 29 aircraft
ILFC announced lease transactions on four used and 25 new aircraft with Air Astana (two A320-200s), Qantas (six A320-200s), Air Arabia (two A320-200s), Aer Lingus (A320-200), Hong Kong Airlines (three 737-800s), Okay Airlines (737-800), Royal Jordanian (two 787s), Bangkok Airways (six A319-100s), Air Comet (two A330-200s), Far Eastern Air Transport (two 757-200ERs) and Air Canada (one 777-300ER).
Air Arabia leased two new Airbus A320-200 aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft are powered by CFM56-5B4/P engines and will be delivered in March and April 2008. The lease terms are for six years each.
Aer Lingus leased a new Airbus A320-200 aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines scheduled for delivery in June 2008. The lease term is for seven years. This brings the number of aircraft leased by Aer Lingus from ILFC to 18.
Air Canada leased one new Boeing 777-300ER (35298) aircraft equipped with GE90-115B engines. The lease term is for 10 years. This is Air Canada’s ﬁrst 777-300ER from ILFC.
Air Comet leased two Airbus A330-200 (205, 211) aircraft powered by CF6-80E1-A4 engines from ILFC. The aircraft are on a ﬁve-year lease contract.
Air Astana agreed to lease two new Airbus A320-200 aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft are powered by V2527-A5 engines and are sched-uled to deliver in May and June 2008. The lease terms are for six years each.
Bangkok Airways leased six new Airbus A319-100 aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft are powered by V2524-A5 engines and are scheduled to deliver between March 2008 and November 2009. The lease terms are for six years each.
Far Eastern Air Transport agreed to lease two Boeing 757-200ER aircraft (29385, 29378) with PW2037 engines, which are scheduled to deliver in December 2007. The lease terms are for ﬁve years.
Hong Kong Airlines leased three new Boeing 737-800 aircraft (35274, 35276, 35285) with CFM56-7B24 engines, scheduled to deliver in April, May and October 2008. The lease terms are for 10 years each.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines leased a new 777-200ER (32721) with GE90-94B engines from ILFC.
Okay Airways leased one new Boeing 737-800 (30733) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from ILFC. The aircraft is scheduled for delivery in December 2007. The lease term is for 10 years.
Qantas Airways leased six new Airbus A320-200 aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft are powered by V2527-A5 engines and are scheduled to deliver between April 2008 and February 2009. The lease terms are for six years each.
Royal Jordanian leased two new Boeing 787-8 (35312, 35314) aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft are scheduled to deliver in December 2010 and February 2011. The lease terms are for 12 years each.
Air Almaty leased a Boeing 737-200 (22123) with JT8D-15 engines from Southern Aircraft.
Air Bagan leased an ex-US Airways 1989-built Fokker F-100 (11282) with Tay 650-15 engines from Phoenix Aircraft Sales & Leasing.
Air Italy leased a Boeing 737-300 (23636) with CFM56-3B2 engines from AWAS. The 1988-built aircraft was last leased to Slovak Airlines.
Air Via, the Bulgarian charter operator, leased a new Airbus A320 aircraft (3125) with V2527-A5 engines from Macquarie AirFinance. This aircraft is the fourth A320 aircraft to join Air Via’s ﬂeet and is the second in the ﬂeet to be leased from Macquarie AirFinance.
Aloha Airlines acquired two 1985-built Boeing 737-200As (23154, 23155) equipped with JT8D-9A engines off-lease from BCI Aircraft Leasing.
Adria Airways agreed to wet-lease two aircraft from Ukraine International Airlines. It agreed to take a 1993-built ex-Air France Boeing 737-400 (26437) equipped with CFM56-3C1 engines that is currently leased by Boeing Capital to Ukraine International. It also agreed to take a 1992-built ex-Blu Express Boeing 737-500 (25236) equipped with CFM56-3C1 engines that is owned by Volito Aviation.
Aircraft & Engine Support purchased an ex-Spirit MD-87 (49777) equipped with JT8D-219 engines from Apollo Aviation Capital Management.
Batavia leased an ex-MyTravel Airways Airbus A320-200 (449) with V2500-A1 engines from Babcock & Brown Asset Management.
Bionic Air leased an ex-Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-200C (21959) equipped with JT8D-17 engines from CSDS Aircraft Sales & Leasing, which acquired the 1979-built aircraft from Alaska Airlines.
BMI Regional extended the lease of its ERJ-145EU (70) with AE3007-A1 engines with Corporate Aircraft Leasing in a transaction arranged by Skyways Aviation.
Chautauqua Airlines leased two CRJ-200ERs (7399, 7429) with CF34-3A1 engines from US Bank NA Trustee. The 2000-built aircraft had been leased to Independence Air previously. Chautauqua Airlines now operates 13 ex-Independence Air CRJ-200ERs.
City Airlines extended the leases of its ERJ-145EU (113) with AE3007-A1 engines with Corporate Aircraft Leasing in a transaction arranged by Skyways Aviation.
Las Vegas Sands Corp. purchased two ex-Delta Shuttle 1988-built Boeing 737-300s (24220, 24269) with CFM56-3B2 engines from GECAS.
Lucky Air leased a second Boeing 737-700 (33011) with CFM56-7B24 engines from CIT Aerospace. The aircraft was manufactured in 2003, and last operated by Alaska Airlines.
Martinair leased an Airbus A320-200 (1564) with CFM56-5B4/P engines from XL Airways Germany through October. The 2001-built aircraft is on lease from GECAS through October 2011.
MaxJet acquired two Boeing 767-200ERs (23973, 23974) with CF6-80C2B4 engines from a special purpose vehicle formed by Marathon Investment Fund, Compass Capital Corp. and GA Telesis. Compass Capital Corp. arranged the sale of both 1988-built aircraft to MAXjet.
Mexicana subleased a third Airbus A319-100 (1742) with CFM56-5B6/Ps from Air Canada. The 2002-built aircraft is owned by ILFC through May 2012.
Mihin Lanka wet-leased an Airbus A321-200 (604) equipped with V2530-A5 engines from Best Air for LCC startup operation. The 1996-built aircraft is on lease from ILFC through November 2011.
Nordic Aviation Contractor sold the ﬁnal ATR42-300 (57) with PW120 engines of a ﬁve aircraft package to UTair (Russia). All ﬁve aircraft (42, 51, 54, 57, 68) were purchased from Alitalia Express.
RPK Capital purchased a 1989-built Boeing 737-400 (24352) with CFM56-3C1 engines from AAR. AAR acquired the aircraft from Sojitz Aircraft Leasing (AAR did a simultaneous flip) off lease from Futura International Airways. RPK Capital put a new lease in place with Futura International Airways for a period of ﬁve years.
Royal Brunei Airlines leased a Boeing 777-200ER (30213) with PW4090 engines from US Bank NA Trustee. The 1999-built aircraft was last operated by Varig.
Sichuan Airlines leased two ex-Air Madrid 2005-built Airbus A319-100s (2396, 2431)) with V2524-A5s from ILFC through April 2012.
Sky Airlines leased a new Boeing 737-800 (29644) with CFM56-7B26 engines from CIT Aerospace.
Skywest Airlines purchased an ex-Comair CRJ-100ER (7168) with CF34-3A1 engines from US Bank NA Trustee. The 1997-built aircraft had been with Comair since delivery.
SwiftAir leased a 1987-built Boeing 737-300F (23811) with CFM56-3B2 engines from AWAS.
Jet Trading and Leasing purchased a 1984-built Boeing 757-200 (22207) with RB211-535E4 engines from RPK Capital. The aircraft has a lease attached to US Airways through April 2008.
Virgin America sold a second new Airbus A320-200 (3101) with CFM56-5B4/P engines to Pegasus Aviation Finance for leaseback.
World Aircraft Trading purchased an ex-Comair 1997-built CRJ-100ER (7163) ﬁtted with CF34-3A1 engines from US Bank NA Trustee.
Aeroflot agreed to purchase two MD-11s (48512/48513) from Finnair for delivery in November 2008 and July 2009 for conversion to freighters.
Aeroinversiones purchased two ex-Kitty Hawk Air Cargo Boeing 727-200F aircraft (21105, 21108), both equipped with JT8D-15 engines, from MidAmerican Aerospace, which had acquired the aircraft from Kitty Hawk Collateral Trusts, in a transaction that was arranged by Langdon Asset Management.
ABX Air purchased an ex-American Airlines 1983-built Boeing 767-200 (22314) with CF6-80A engines from CSDS Aircraft Sales & Leasing. The aircraft will be converted into cargo by IAI Bedek.
All Nippon Airways signed an ACMI contract for two 767-200SFs equipped with CF6-80A engines from ABX Air for a period of two years.
Emirates SkyCargo wet-leased a Boeing 747-400ERF (35232) with CF6-C2B5F engines from TNT Airways.
Fedex Express took delivery of a new A300-600F (876), its 39th new A300F. It has three more aircraft on order.
Perfect Aviation purchased an ex-Kitty Hawk Air Cargo 1976-built Boeing 727-200F (20995) with JT8D-9A engines from The Flightstar Group.
Stewart Industries purchased an ex-Kitty Hawk Air Cargo 727-200F (19485) with JT8D-9 engines for part out.
C&L Aerospace purchased an ex-American Eagle Saab 340B (349) ﬁtted with CT7-9B engines from Worthington Aviation Parts for part out.
Ceiba Air purchased an ATR42-300 (335) equipped with PW121 engines from ATR Asset Management for start-up. The 1992-built aircraft was last operated by Air Caledonie.
Nordic Solutions leased a Saab 340A (159) with CT7-5A2 engines from Air Nelson. Skyways Aviation arranged the transaction.
Phoenix Aircraft Leasing & Sales purchased a 1993-built Bombardier Dash8-100 (366) with PW121 engines from Island Air for lease to Bangladeshi start-up United Airways from Dhaka. It expects to deliver a second Dash8-100 to United Airways in June.
REX took delivery of the ﬁrst (370) of 25 ex-American Eagle Saab 340Bs equipped with CT7-9B engines, leased from Saab Aircraft Leasing.
