After signing a 22 Airbus A350XWB memorandum of understanding with Airbus last month, Aeroﬂot has also opted for 10 A330200s.
Aeroﬂot and AerCap signed a letter of intent for the supply of A330-200 aircraft under an operational leasing structure. The ﬁrst two aircraft will be delivered to Aeroﬂot in 2008. In 2009 Aeroﬂot will receive ﬁve aircraft, and in 2010 it will take the remaining three. Aeroﬂot chose A330-200 aircraft as an interim decision to replenish its fleet until new A350XWB aircraft are supplied between 2014 and 2017.
Aeroflot leased/took delivery of two new Airbus A320s with CFM56s: one each from GECAS and RBS Aerospace under previously announced deals.
Aladia Airlines leased a Boeing 757-200 (23928) with RB211-535E4 engines from Macquarie AirFinance. The 1987-built aircraft had been previously leased to Pace Airlines.
Avation acquired a Fokker F-100 (11484) with Tay 650-15 engines from Wings Aircraft Finance for $4.1m. The 1994-built aircraft has a 66 month lease attached to Australia’s Skywest Airlines, which already leases two F-100s (11488, 11489) from Avation. The aircraft had the six and 12 yearly inspections, plus 4,000 hourly checks completed as at March 2007. The lease is expected to generate each year about $1.08m in revenues. Cash ﬂows will exceed this ﬁgure due to the collection of certain maintenance reserves. This makes a monthly lease rate of $90,000.
Aserca Airlines acquired a McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 (47473) with JT8D-9A engines from New Horizon Asset Management. The 1970-built aircraft was last operated by Northwest Airlines.
Arik Air agreed to purchase two new Boeing 737-700s from AirTran Airways. Both aircraft were due to be delivered last month. Arik Air intends to utilise the new aircraft on domestic and international routes.
Austrian Arrows leased a Fokker F-100 (11361) with Tay 650-15 engines from Airﬂeet Credit Corp. The 1991-built aircraft was pre-viously leased to Jetsgo. Austrian also transferred two Fokker F-70s (11560, 11568) with Tay 620-15 engines to Austrian Arrows.
Batavia Air leased its ﬁrst Airbus A320-200 (449) with V2500-A1 engines from Babcock & Brown. The 1993-built aircraft was operated by My Travel Airways over the past ﬁve years. The current ﬂeet comprises two Airbus A319-100s, nine Boeing 737-200s, 10 737-300s and three 737-400s.
BMI British Midland leased a new Airbus A319-100 (3049) with V2522-A5 engines from AerCap. The carrier has another A319-100 from AerCap that was delivered in January.
Click Mexicana leased a Fokker F-100 (11303) with Tay 650-15 engines from Pembroke Group. The 1990-built aircraft was previously leased to Germania.
Conviasa purchased an Airbus A340-200 (31) with CFM56-5C2 engines from Airbus Asset Management. The 1993-built aircraft was pre-viously operated by Air Europa.
Dutch Antilles Express leased two Fokker F-100 (11310, 11331) with Tay 650-15 engines from Pembroke Group. The 1990/91-built aircraft were previously leased to Germania.
European Air Transport acquired an Airbus A300B4-200F (235) with CF6-50C2 engines from Aerolease International, which purchased the ex-Express.net aircraft from Finova Capital in February.
GOL Transportes Aereos leased two 2001-built ex-Varig Boeing 737-800s (30477, 30571) with CFM56-7B24 engines from Macquarie Air Finance. GOL also leased a 2000-built ex-Sun Express Boeing 737-800 (28616) with CFM56-7B26 engines from GECAS.
GPFC Ireland and GA Telesis purchased an Airbus A310-300 (672) with PW4156As from Airbus Financial Services. The 1993-built aircraft has a lease attached to Czech Airlines through July 2010.
Global Aviation Leasing Partners (GALP) acquired a 1987-built Boeing 737-300 (23553) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from RAK Airways. Global Aviation Leasing also acquired two Boeing 737-300s (23597, 23598) aircraft equipped with CFM56-3B1 engines from GA Telesis. Both 1986-built aircraft were last operated by Delta Air Lines. The aircraft will be put through heavy maintenance and then remarketed to potential airline customers worldwide by GALP.
Indian Airlines is set to acquire two Airbus A330-200 aircraft on lease from Avequis. Sources said the lease would be for seven years and the aircraft would be deployed in the India-China or the India-South Africa routes.
Iran Air leased a Fokker F-100 (11394) with Tay 650-15 engines from F-100 Aircraft Leasing. The 1992-built aircraft was previously leased to TAM Linhas Aereas.
Jet Midwest purchased 16 DC-9-32s and two 1982-built 737-200s (22873, 22874) with JT8D-9A engines from Air Canada.
JetWorks Leasing sold a 767-300ER on lease to LAN Airlines from BTMU Capital and HSH Nordbank to a fund managed by Guggenheim Aviation Partners and a 737-300 on lease to Pluna by PLM Financial Services to Deutsche Bank Equipment Leasing.
Jet2.com subleased a BAE Systems 146-200 (3205) with ALF502-R5 engines from Flight-line. The 1992-built aircraft was previously operated by Flybe.
JetX leased a new Boeing 737-800 (33419) with CFM56-7B24 engines from GECAS for a period of eight years. The 2002-built aircraft was on lease from GECAS to Caribbean Airlines through January 2007.

KLM CityHopper sold a Fokker F-100 (11472) with Tay 650-15 engines from AerCap. The 1995-built aircraft was previously leased to TAM Linhas Aereas.

Mexicana subleased two 2001/02-built Airbus A319-100s (1630, 1673) with CFM56-5B6/P engines from Air Canada. Both are on lease from ILFC through 2011 and 2012, respectively.
MaxJet acquired two Boeing 767-200ERs (23973, 23974) with CF6-80C2B4 engines. The 1988-built aircraft were acquired by GA Telesis last year on a 12-month sale and leaseback transaction with Air Mauritius until May 2007.
MyTravel Airways leased an Airbus A320-200 (716) with CFM56-5B4/P engines from GECAS. The 1997-built aircraft was last operated by Thomas Cook Airlines.
Monarch Airlines leased an Airbus A321-200 (1153) with V2533-A5s from AerCap. The 2000-built aircraft was previously leased to BMI British Midland.
Nok Air leased a Boeing 737-400 (25594) with CFM56-3C1 engines from AerCap. The 1992-built was previously leased to Philippine Airlines.
Nordic Air Contractors purchased a Boeing 737-300 (24464) with CFM56-3B1 engines from Babcock & Brown. The 1989-built aircraft was previously leased to Philippine Airlines.
Norway Airlines City of Stavanger sold a 1987-built Boeing 737-300 (23827) with CFM56-3B2 engines to Air Transport Leasing. ALM arranged the sale acting for Norway Airlines. Previously the aircraft was leased to Aviation Partners Boeing for the purposes of ﬂight-testing and certiﬁcation of the winglets installation.
Oman Air leased a 2000-built Boeing 737-800 (28618) with CFM56-7B24 engines from Travel Service, for a period of one year.
Pegasus Airlines agreed to lease a new Boeing 737-800 (35094) with CFM56-7B24 engines from RBS Aviation Capital. Pegasus Airlines also leased a Boeing 737-500 (29122) with CFM56-3C1 engines from Sojitz Aircraft Leasing. The 1997-built aircraft was previously leased to Varig.
Qatar Airways leased a new Airbus A320-200 (3071) with V2500s from CIT Aerospace; it now has 12 A320s and two A321s.
Sky Star Airlines leased a Boeing 767-200EREM (21871) with JT9D-7R engines from Wells Fargo Bank NW NA Trustee. The 1982-built aircraft was previously on lease to United Airlines.
Sky King leased a Boeing 737-200A (23098) with JT8D-15A engines from BCI Aircraft Leasing, which acquired the aircraft from GECAS.
Sun Country Airlines agreed to lease two new 737-800s from CIT Aerospace for delivery in July and August 2007. The aircraft are part of a lot of 10 737NGs being purchased by CIT from Delta upon delivery from Boeing.
Skybus Airlines subleased an Airbus A319-100 (2811) with CFM56-5B6/P engines from Virgin America. The 2006-built aircraft is owned by GECAS.
Sterling Airline leased two new Boeing 737-700s (34401, TBA) with CFM56-7B engines from Bavaria International Aircraft Leasing.
Sun Express Airlines agreed to lease a 2001-built Boeing 737-800 (30807) with CFM56-7B26 engines from GECAS. The aircraft was previously on lease to Ajet Aviation (Helios Airways).
Swiss leased two Airbus A321-100s (522, 541) with CFM56-5B1 engines from Pembroke Group. Both 1995-built aircraft were previously on lease to Turkish Airlines THY.
Titan Airways leased a 1991-built Boeing 737-300QC (25402) with CFM56-3C1 engines from Jet-I in a deal arranged by Babcock & Brown.
The Memphis Group purchased a Boeing 757-200 (23651) with RB211-535C engines from Erste Bank. The 1986-built aircraft was previously operated by Orient Thai Airlines.
Transavia Airlines agreed to lease two 2006-built Boeing 737-800s (32672, 32693) with CFM56-7B26 engines from SpiceJet for the summer period. Both aircraft are on lease from GECAS. Transavia Airlines also leased a 1999-built Boeing 737-800s (28225) with CFM56-7B27 engines from Caribbean Airlines for the summer period. The aircraft are on lease from ILFC to Caribbean Airlines through January 2010.
Thai Airways’ board announced approval of the sale of two A300-600s that will leave the ﬂeet by June and the purchase of a 747-400 the airline has been leasing since 1997 when the contract expires in April 2008.
Volito Aviation extended the leases of two Airbus A320-200s (308, 314) with V2500-A1 engines to Indian Airlines until March 2010. Both 1992-built aircraft, which have been on lease to Indian Airlines since 2002, were acquired in 2005 from Orix Aviation and are ﬁnanced by HSH Nordbank.
Vueling leased an Airbus A320-200 (1413) with CFM56-5B4/2P engines from SALE for a period of six years. The 2001-built aircraft was previously on lease to Turkish Airlines THY.
Zoom Airlines leased a Boeing 757-200 (24543) with RB211-535E4 engines from Arkia Leasing. The 1990-built aircraft was previously leased to Harmony Airways.

FlyAnt Cargo leased a second Boeing 737-300SF (23743) with CFM56-3B1 engines from RPK Capital. The 1988-built aircraft was converted into cargo by Pemco.
Airlinair leased an ATR-72-200 (145) with PW124B engines from Bravo Aviation. The 1989-built aircraft is under a ﬁve-year lease contract. Skyways Aviation arranged the lease on behalf of Bravo Aviation.
Corporate Flight Management purchased a Jetstream J32 (952) with TPE331-12 engines from BAE Systems Regional Aircraft.
Estonian Airlines signed a contract with Saab Aircraft Leasing for the lease of two Saab 340s (132, 151) with CT7-9B engines. Both ex-Air Nelson aircraft will join its ﬂeet in May and September.
Jetran International purchased a Dornier 328-110 (3030) with PW119B engines from AerCap. The 1995-built aircraft was previously leased to PSA Airlines.
Job Air acquired a Saab 340B (161) with CT7-9B engines from Golden Air. Job Air operates as Central Connect Airlines based at Ostrava and now has ﬁve Saab 340s in the fleet. Skyways Aviation arranged the sale.
LOT Polish Airlines purchased an ATR-42-500 (559) with PW127E engines from Luft-hansa Group. The 1998-built aircraft was oper-ated by Contact Air Flugdienst.
Nordic Aviation Contractor purchased a Fokker F-50 (20196) with PW125B engines from STB Leasing in a deal arranged by ANA Trading Corp. The 1990-built aircraft was last operated by Air Central, and was then sold to Janco International.
