Delta Air Lines and Gol have announced 36 destinations that they will codeshare to beginning as soon as 8 December.
The Atlanta-based SkyTeam alliance member will place its code on Gol flights between Brasilia, Sao Paulo Guarulhos and Rio de Janeiro Galeao to 30 cities in Brazil and six in Latin America, according to a filing with the US Department of Transportation on 8 December.
In Brazil, destinations include Aracaju, Bauru, Boa Vista, Campinas, Campina Grande, Campo Grande, Caxias do Sul, Chapeco, Cruzeiro do Sul Acre, Fernando de Noronha, Ilheus, Imperatriz, Joinville, Juazeiro do Norte, Macapa Amapa, Maceio Alagoas, Maraba, Maringa, Montes Claros, Palmas To, Petrolina, Porto Seguro, Porto Velho, Pres Prudente, Rio Branco, Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont, San Luiz Maranhao, Santarem, Sao Paulo Congonhas and Uberlandia.
In Latin America, destinations include Buenos Aires, Curacao, Punta Cana, Rosario, Santa Cruz-Viru Viru and Santiago de Chile.
Delta and Gol have increased their cooperation during the year since the former made a $100 million equity investment in the latter.
