Delta plans seasonal Seattle-Fairbanks flight

Delta Air Lines plans to launch seasonal flights between Seattle Tacoma International and Fairbanks International airport in May 2014.

The flight will be operate on a Boeing 737-800 through the summer peak season from 29 May 2014, according to the Atlanta-based SkyTeam alliance carrier.

Alaska Airlines is the only other airline operating the route, Innovata schedules show.

Delta confirmed on 2 December that it will also begin five-daily flights between Seattle and Vancouver International airport from 5 June 2014.
