Delta Air Lines reports a 5% improvement in passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) in February, compared with a year earlier.

The Atlanta-based SkyTeam alliance carrier attributed the growth to corporate revenue gains, increased load factor and improved trans-Atlantic performance.

Traffic and capacity declined by 2.2% and 5% respectively. The load factor was up 2.2 percentage points to 79.1%.

Domestic traffic decreased 3.5% on a 4.7% decline in capacity. The load factor was up one percentage point to 80.5%.

International traffic decreased by 0.1% on a 5.4% decline in capacity. The load factor was up 4.1 percentage points to 77.1%.
