Delta TechOps has signed a five-year agreement with Air Canada to provide repair and overhaul service for the carrier's Pratt & Whitney PW4060 engines.

The deal will cover the airline's 18 engines with four spares, three of which are already inducted at the MRO firm. The engines power nine Air Canada Boeing 767s.

"TechOps' operational experience with this engine type and overall competitive service offerings were the primary reasons we chose them for this contract," said Alan Butterfield, vice president of maintenance and engineering for Air Canada.
