Delta Air Lines will launch new nonstop service between its Atlanta base and Fargo, North Dakota, from 21 December.
ExpressJet Airlines will operate the seasonal Saturday-only flight on a 76-seat Bombardier CRJ900, according to Delta.
"We continue to see growing demand in this marketplace, especially from customers wanting to connect to the southeast and Latin America during the winter season," says Joe Esposito, managing director of domestic network planning at Delta, in a statement.
No airlines fly between Atlanta and Fargo, Innovata schedules show.
The carrier began twice-daily nonstop service between Dickinson, North Dakota, and its Minneapolis-St. Paul hub on 10 June, in response to growth in the state's oil and gas industry.
