Delta Air Lines plans to begin service between Cleveland Hopkins International and Hartford Bradley International airports in June.

The once daily flight will be flown on a 65-seat Bombardier CRJ700 from 5 June, according to the Atlanta-based SkyTeam alliance carrier’s website.

Delta will replace United Airlines on the route, which it plans to end in April as part of the downsizing of its hub in Cleveland.

The airline announced new flights between Cleveland and both Indianapolis and Raleigh-Durham – routes that United is discontinuing – from 5 June in February.

No other airlines fly between Cleveland and Hartford, Innovata schedules show.
