Delta Air Lines has revealed plans to replace flights operated by SkyTeam joint venture partner Air France on the Chicago-Paris route on a seasonal basis for the winter season.

Beginning 29 October, the Atlanta-based carrier will launch five weekly flights between the two cities utilising its fleet of Boeing 767-300s, according to a Delta spokesman.

Air France currently operates daily service on the route with its Airbus A340-300s, according to Innovata.
