Russian manufacturer Dinamika has supplied an engineering design simulator to support the development of Irkut's medium-range MS-21 twin-jet.

The device is designed to assist with gauging flight parameters for the type at the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI).

Alongside calibration of the remote control system, it provides for enhancing flight control techniques during all flight phases and in emergency situations.

Dinamika says it is also considering developing a full-flight simulator and cockpit procedure trainer for the MS-21, the design of which is due to be frozen shortly.
