Emirates subsidiary Dnata has acquired another 50% stake in Servair Airchef, bringing the Italian in-flight catering firm under its full ownership.
Servair Airchef provides catering services at 23 Italian airports and employs around 700 people. It also carries out aircraft cleaning services at seven Italian airports.
The 50% stake was acquired by Dnata, the airlines services arm of Emirates, from Air France subsidiary Servair. Dnata previously bought into the Italian catering and cleaning firm in 2001.
The acquisition follows Dnata's earlier investments in catering firms Alpha Flight Group, Wings Inflight Service and En Route International.
