Dragonair will be introducing new business and economy class seats on its Airbus A321s and A330-300s.
The new seats will be retrofitted on its existing aircraft and introduced on incoming ones, says the carrier.
The first A330 with the new products is scheduled to be placed into service in March.
Seat maker Recaro will be providing the new business class seats, which will feature a 47in (120cm) pitch, an increase from the existing 45in by 21in wide seat. The seat can be put on a 36° recline and has a larger 12.1in personal television screen (PTV), with individual power supply.
Weber will supply the economy class seats, which will have a wider seat width of 18.1in, a larger 9in PTV and individual in-seat power outlets.
Seats in both classes will also have touchscreen PTVs with audio and video-on-demand.
Dragonair expects to complete retrofitting its fleet with the new seats by the end of 2014, and will introduce another A330-300 to its fleet this year, adds the spokeswoman.
