Cathay Pacific subsidiary Dragonair will launch a thrice weekly service between Hong Kong and Da Nang from 28 March, subject to government approval.

The airline will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the new route.

In addition, Dragonair will raise the frequencies of two services effective from the 2013 summer schedule. The carrier will increase the frequency of its Wuhan service from seven to nine times weekly starting 31 March. It will also raise the frequency of its Jeju service from thrice to four times weekly on the same date.

Innovata schedules show that the Hong Kong-based airline is the sole operator on the Hong Kong-Da Nang route.
