Baynuna Aviation Technology and Thales announced at the show yesterday that their joint venture Thalbat Advanced Technologies has been "firmly established". Baynuna and Thales will hold 51% and 49% of the company, respectively. The venture will provide technical support to the UAE air force for avionics. "The JV company is now officially established in the UAE and aims to extend its services and product lines throughout the region," says General Khaled Al Bu-Ainan, chief executive of Baynuna Technology.
