Dubai-based lessor DAE Capital is to lease nine new Boeing 777 freighters to Emirates' SkyCargo operation, under a long-term agreement.
DAE Capital, which disclosed the pact during the Dubai air show, said the aircraft would be taken from its order book with Boeing and delivered in 2012-15.
"This agreement ensures Emirates SkyCargo will receive a pipeline of new, state-of-the-art freighter aircraft over the next four years," said Emirates Group chief Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum.
"Emirates SkyCargo continues to build on its leadership position in the global cargo market and these aircraft will play an important role in this growth."
DAE had recently switched a handful of Boeing 747-8 freighter orders to 777 freighters. Managing director Khalifa Al Daboos said the pact meant it would deliver "one of the most modern, technologically advanced freighter aircraft" to Dubai-based Emirates.
