Egyptian carrier Petroleum Air Services has ordered a single Bombardier CRJ900, which is set to be delivered in the first quarter of next year.
The deal with the Cairo-based company was disclosed by the Canadian airframer during the Dubai air show.
Petroleum Air Services operates flights for the energy industry but also provides charter services to tour operators, flying to domestic and international destinations.
The carrier has previously used Bombardier de Havilland Dash 7 and Dash 8 turboprops, and also provides helicopter services.
Bombardier said its agreement for the CRJ900 included a single-optioned aircraft.
