Dutch safety authorities are finalising comments to the draft inquiry report into the Afriqiyah Airways Airbus A330 crash at Tripoli.
The Dutch Safety Board says it hopes the Libyan authorities will publish a final report into the accident in early 2013.
Afriqiyah flight 8U771 from Johannesburg came down while attempting to land at Tripoli in May 2010.
Political unrest in Libya subsequently stalled progress on the investigation and interrupted safety discussions between Libyan and European authorities.
The Dutch Safety Board says, however, that it received a confidential draft report into the fatal accident which killed 103 occupants, including 70 Dutch nationals.
It adds that it will conclude its response to this report during November.
"After the Libyan authorities have processed the comments of interested parties, the final investigation report will be made public," says the board.
