DVB Bank has financed the last of three Boeing 737-800s acquired by AerDragon Aviation Partners (AerDragon) from Air Europa under a purchase and leaseback transaction.
The German aviation bank acted as arranger, agent and underwriter of a commercial debt facility covering the 737-800 (MSN 36594), which delivered last month.
AerDragon acquired three Boeing 737-800s earlier this year from the Spanish carrier under purchase and leaseback deals.
The Chinese operating lessor funded the first aircraft with a commercial loan arranged by Crédit Agricole-CIB. The French bank was the arranger and agent with the Korea Development Bank joining as lender in the facility.
The second delivery, which closed in July, was financed with a commercial loan from the Korean Development Bank, according to Flightglobal's Ascend online database.
