UK low-cost carrier EasyJet is to drop Helsinki completely from its network after experiencing disappointing passenger loads.

The airline currently serves Helsinki from London Gatwick, Manchester and Paris Charles de Gaulle, but the services will come to an end over the course of June and July.

An EasyJet spokesman says there had been "quite a decent amount of inbound traffic" to Helsinki but outbound demand from the Finnish capital had been weak.
